Great game, art and music direction is great. Main gimmick of the game is also interesting, but it needs to get polished. Waiting for rain, that seems random ain't the greatest, but then I understand it being like that, to make player be more elastic their positioning.
Temporary upgrades are simply not great. pernament get really grindy later, and healing items feel too expensive to bother. Jump ones I guess make chaining water jumps more effective, but I haven't really felt that effect, considering you do it like once or twice in a row. Speed upgrades at least you see they help, altough their influence is not great either.
First two boss fights are ok, but not that interesting. Third boss was nice, when he wasn't using one attack immidiately after another, which was really annoying. Fourth boss beside weird patterns has issues with 2 attacks. The one where it charges at different angles can just result in unavoidable damage, depending on the said angleand position of the boss. The other attack that isn't great is when boss does semi carouselle with pojectiles. Dodging it on the right side of screen was decently easy, but on the left side of the screen I always got hit. The clockwise pattern just seems to be culprit here.

Hey thank you very much,
for the rating despite all the flaws you mentioned.
We couldn't use the shop to its full potential, nor the items (there should have been more) and for example there should have been more canned live in the shop with a counter next to the item, so you could have bought several, and the items should have more utility. The improvements are there to give an rpg aspect and I couldn't do what I wanted with either. But I still decided to keep the shops, for the universe and the lore, as well as the items that allow you to unlock secrets (+to justify money). I think it goes well with the universe. You have perfectly as far as the bosses are concerned, the first one is a bit random, and I missed the opportunity to design a boss around the mechanic of shooting in the air, which I should have done for boss 2 (the machine and Mr. Marc), except for that which is an oversight. All the other flaws in the game are due to organizational errors, planning, and management issues, everything was done in a too disorganized way, and this is our first game this big, we will work on these points for the next ones, thank you for the feedback, I'm glad we managed to release a game that people like despite all that !!

It's kinda weird with text at the end being so downscaled/blured that is hard to read. Also, you get softlocked when you die inside blue walls.

Could you give a bit more time to be able to dodge first attack of Mad Knight? 2 succesive inputs in what seems to be 2 frames is not easy.

Truly fairest undertale inspired game. Like holy shit, only 5 people excluding creator beat the easy mode at least. It feels nice, but there is so much visual clutter, unlike other bullet hells projectiles don't dissappear after boss phase and using parry to do more damage is not worth the risk.
I have seen everything on baby mode and I made the right decision because there is just no way I would manage to beat it. Yeah, I suck, but so do others and that gotta say something.

Like others said, impressive work, however I think game design could be better. I'm aware that this game tries to be as old school game with it's graphics, difficulty, feel etc.I respect trying to go for it. but it doesn't mean that players are now also from that era. This game doesn't forgive mistakes and it's very limited to what you can do which will make this game much less replayable, because why bother doing achievments, if im going to do the same thing, but with more pain.

Man, this is mess. There is little to no visual effects, making it unsatisfactory, game is buggy, from simple visual glitches, through game allowing you to attack things that don't exist, to just straight up crashing from Mushroom Squid attack.

Unfortunately our playtesters at the campfire weren't available near release to spot these kinds of bugs, when our discord community grows more over time hopefully this kind of situation will be avoided! I'm slowly going over them and fixing them as they are reported.

I'm currently working on a complete rework of the combat system that should give a very different experience, but I'll make sure to first squish this squid. ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ👍

character could be faster, as well as zombies. After I got into car text "drive" appeared and i cant do anything. Some sound effect also would be nice.
Also this game uses a lot cpu for some reason

It's very nice and I liked how the process of this game went, but even tho they tried their hardest to make it understandable for new player, I still got lost in the begining. And you can't win it, but that's ok.
